Dear Karl,

I am an 11th grade student at Henry D. Sheldon High School in Eugene, Oregon. As part of the requirements for my upcoming graduation, I will have to research and write a 4000-word essay detailing an in-depth study of a particular topic. The topic I have chosen is the effectiveness of Ritalin for treating behavioral disorders versus alternative methods.

One aspect of this project is to find a technical advisor who is experienced and knowledgeable in the topic am exploring. The duties of this advisor are to occasionally review and comment on my project as I go through the steps leading up to the final paper.

I was wondering if you could refer me to anyone who could act as my technical advisor or possibly if you yourself could fill this role. If not, I would be most grateful for any help you could offer me such as pointing me towards pertinent studies or readings. Thank you very much!

You should also know that I have a very strong position on this, already, as I am very much opposed to the use of Ritalin for any reason.
 
In fact, I feel so strongly about this that my company refuses to sell any of our products to ANY person taking any psychiatric drug -- you can find that here:

Next, I probably have more pages, many hundreds, about the harm caused by psychiatric drugs, including Ritalin, than any other web in the world.
 
Those are scattered here and there, but many of them are found linked to the just above reference.
 
I can say by way of your selection that I usually answer messages within a few hours and that I have an IQ of 151 on a scale where 155 is the top score.  I am very good with grammar and vocabulary.
 
A 4000 word essay is a big undertaking. 
 
Let me have your response to the above, and I will then offer more data.
 
Mostly I would like to know more about your school, your interests, what course this is for, who is grading, what do you think he/she expects, and tell me what your parents think about Ritalin, and what they do.
 
All of this personal information would help me guide you.
