Dear Deb,
Nails take a long time to grow out -- so it takes
several months to
improve their health -- but get on to some sulfur
containing
substances.
Garlic is good for that purpose -- I don't sell that,
but you can get
it anywhere.
Tell me about your diet?

Subject: diet
Karl,
About my diet, it?s a long story so I hope I don?t bore
you. A year ago last November I was feeling very blah so
to speak. My sister advised me to go see a homeopathic
chiropractor. So I did. She does muscle testing and I had
a yeast reading of ?7? and my adrenal gland was not
working properly.
I have great faith in both chiropractic and homeopathy, but as I believe I understand these "practices" rather well, I don't believe there is any standard system of "readings" for their testings. So, I would assume that "7" is an arbitrary number based on her own scale. Thus, it is not useful to others.
I also accept muscle testing as a useful science, but you probably realize that there is no possible way to explain it with logic or Western Science.
When you use a person like this you must go the whole way -- in other words, if you guy into their testing technique, then you MUST buy into their remedies.
A very good friend of mine used muscle testing and "unusual" techniques to treat cancer, but his success rate was SO high that you had to accept that his testing methods were valid.
If the success rate for any one practitioner is NOT high, then you can and should ignore those testing results and methods.
These testing methods are "arts" not "science." Thus, 99% of the accuracy of any such test is NOT in the technique itself, but in the mental or spiritual ability of the practitioner.
She put me on some herbs for the adrenal gland and also some for yeast. I began to feel better as far as energy but my yeast reading was still high. She suggested that I might have some heavy metals that are blocking the absorption of the herbs.
Here is a good example. The concept that "heavy metals block absorption of herbs??" That is a concept that has no basis in accepted science. It may well be true, but it a truth that is not supported by current science. Don't get me wrong on this. I am a great promoter of alternative remedies, but I have spent thousands of hours researching what I consider traditional science to support these alternative remedies. So, I am confident that I know the dangers of metals in the body. I know (from many scientific studies) that metals cause increases in free radicals. I know what free radicals do.
I've never seen any science that talks of how metals in the body can block absorption of herbs. So, it may be right, it may not, but it will be the RESULTS that tell whether this ART is being usefully practiced by the practitioner.
She advised me to get a hair analysis and see if I have the heavy metals. This test was to use the pubic hair and not the hair on my head because there are other factors in the air that might alter the testing.
This is common because, mostly, the hair on the head has often been hit with hair chemicals. Bleaches and coloring agents often contain lead, for instance.
The results that came back from the
test surprised both my doctor and me. It wasn?t that I
had heavy metals, but a very high arsenic level.
That scared me because I did some researching on arsenic
and the effects of it. I was surprised to find out that
if you have too much in your system it can cause havoc
and havoc it did cause in mine.
You are buying into a conclusion that may not be based on valid science or accurate testing methods.
Before I went to her, I had a basil cell carcinoma removed from my head which the dermatologist was surprised that I had one because my hair covered it up. I?m contributing the high arsenic level for the basil cell carcinoma. (I might be wrong but I believe it started it). My homeopathic doctor suggested that I might need chelation therapy to rid my system of the arsenic.
I consider myself a real expert on "chelation therapy" and I don't believe it will remove arsenic.
Well the cost of chelation was well above the amount that I could pay and insurance would not cover it. I was determined that there should be another way to do the chelation therapy other than by needle. That is when I searched the World Wide Web pages and came across your vibrant vitamins. I ordered 8 bottles of the vitamins for myself and for my husband. I took 20 vitamins a day and so did my husband and I have to say I did feel a lot better.
I would figure that you should, indeed, "feel better" but that would not necesarilly mean that any arsenic was leaving your body -- you would feel better when lead and other heavy metals left your body.
I did not tell my homeopathic doctor that I ordered them because I had asked her about the oral chelation and she told my that it would take years to do what the I.V. chelation would do in about three months.
She is obviously wrong on this.
So I asked her ?Years? Just how many?? She replied about 50! I chuckled under my breath not daring to let her know I was taking them.
As I said above, when you go to a practitioner as you have, you really have no choice other than to follow their advice 100%. Why? Because their success is generally NOT caused by the mechanical techniques they use, but rather by their ability, a mental or spiritual ability, to "heal." A "healer" has success only when you believe in that person. As soon as you lose your belief in a person, their ability to heal you is greatly reduced.
I also had ordered 1 bottle of your
taheebo vitamin because of my yeast. After I had the
taheebo bottle gone, I had another appointment with her
and to her surprise my yeast was down to a level 3. Of
course she thought her herbs finally kicked in but I knew
better! I did subscribe to your Wednesday newsletter and
find it very informative. I told my husband that I need
to order more vitamins, but last year he lost his job and
was out of work for about 7-8 weeks. Of course when you
have no income coming in, what do you do first? Cut out
some of the expense and the vitamins (sorry to
say) were one of the expenses and my homeopathic doctor
was another one.
You do what you have to do.
I?m finally catching up on my bills and I will be ordering more vitamins very shortly. I was on an anti-yeast diet that cut out sugars, flour, pastas, breads, carrots, some fruit, beets, potatoes, and some others but sometimes that is so hard to follow.
This sounds like a good diet for you. If it is hard to follow, that would not be unusual. We are usually "addicted" to the exact foods that are bad for us.
I need to go back on that diet, I did feel better. When I received your reply to my e-mail about my fingernails and sulfur was the problem I just about died.
Ah!
After I asked 3 doctors and none of them would comment on the condition or ?that comes with the age thing? am I glad I e-mailed you.
Me too!
Something as simple as that, yet I got nowhere.
That is not unusual. Doctors are in a rut dug by the drug companies. If the solution is not in their rut, they have no solution.
If your Clarks Minerals help the nails and skin and hair, what does it actually do for the skin and hair?
Hair, skin and nails are, as you can see, at the "ends" of the body -- they are on the outside. So, where do they get their nourishment? From the blood of course, but the blood supply to these areas of the body is in the form of the capillaries -- the smallest of the blood vessels.
The capillary is so small that blood cells have to travel through that area in single file.
It is hard to get the nourishment needed for skin, hair, nails, through this very tiny blood supply.
So, you look for ways to get that nourishment INTO these areas from an external source.
That is what colloidal minerals (Clarks) do. They are very tiny -- so they can penetrate through the skin and get immediately into the layers of skin, flesh that most need to be nourished. What is it that is "penetrating?" It would be all these trace minerals (not vitamins, but the raw materials of all vitamins -- minerals).
So, Clarks Minerals, put on the outside of the body, or used as a douche, or swished in the mouth (before swallowing) or used even as a "soak," will allow these minerals to be absorbed into the body's external skin -- from where it can also nourish the hair and nails.
Softer? Perhaps. More health? Yes, indeed.
Does it make the skin softer and the hair shiny, thick? And what about gray hair?
Perhaps. In my personal case, using both Clarks and my own oral chelation for years, I know that my hair got thicker, darker and no longer did the balding areas get larger.
Vitamin deficiency? (My husband wants to know because he has a lot and I have none (ha! ha!) Now I?m going to ask you another question. My husband has been diagnosed with psoriasis on his chin and around his nose. He has gone to 3 different dermatologist and still has it. My homeopathic doctor saw him and she told him that she had been reading up on psoriasis and they are finding out that it has to do with yeast in the body.
A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.
I have a cure for psoriasis. It is a special form of MSM cream, with Ayruvedic herbs -- it is called Calm Cream.
She did some muscle testing on him and he also had a reading of 7. She put him on the anti-yeast diet and some herbs but this is so stubborn it has yet to leave. The costs of her herbs and office calls are so expensive that we also cut out his visits due to the unemployment. Do you have any suggestions on how to rid his body of this? I hope I didn?t bore you and if you would like more information I will be more than happy to supply that for you.
Well, Deb, you can see that you haven't bored me. I'm glad to have had this chance to write what I did.
I would enjoy hearing back from you -- comments or further questions.
May I publish this exchange? With your name? With your eMail? Under a different name? I think others would benefit from this information.
Cordially,
Karl Loren
Sincerely,
Deb
